How long does it take?
Fitting a crown requires only one visit to our office. Initially, we will remove decay, shape the tooth, using a CAD-CAM system, called Cerec, digital impressions are taken and crowns are made on virtual models. The crown is then milled out of a solid block of porcelain to look like a natural tooth.
Then Dr. Smith will check the fit and adjust the final crown. Finally, we will cement the crown into place and you have a new beautiful-looking tooth.

What are the capabilities of crowns?
